Before Season Updates

Three really quick things:

1.  We are required to have 2-3 members who are certified in CPR/FIRST AID (AED certification is also required).  It usually costs about $75 dollars and we only have a few weeks to get this done.  Please e-mail the account if you are interested/willing to do this.

2.  Anyone who has a car on campus must copy their automobile insurance card, registration form, and valid drivers license so we can get them to Deb before tryouts and practices/games begin.  You can also scan them and e-mail them to the account.

3.  If you have already been notified that you are on the roster, please be sure to go to the ncsa website (clubsoftball.org) in order to register and pay the $1.00 registration fee.  If you have registered in the past, most information will be preserved.

That is all :)

Rough Schedule Added!

To all current players:

The rough schedule is now posted under the schedule tab!  The weeks are posted for when our CONFERENCE games will be played.  Please note that the weeks start on a Monday and end on the following Sunday so please plan that the games will be scheduled on the Saturday and/or Sunday for that week.  There are five teams in our conference this year so we will be playing five triple headers.  More non-conference games will be added in the spring.  As we get more solidified dates for everything, it will be posted!  I hope you're excited for the upcoming season!!! :)

Information for Prospective Players!

First of all, if you are reading this and you are a prospective player, thanks for you interest in club softball!  This website will be where you can get a lot of information, but if you would like a more interactive approach, feel free to e-mail the club softball account at sball@tcnj.edu!

First, the Student Activities Fair will be on September 5th and that will be a great opportunity for you to stop by our table, sign up on our list, meet some current players, and ask any questions that you may have!  That night, we will usually have a meeting before try-outs for you to meet everyone and get all important information.  Secondly, try-outs will most likely begin within the first week or two of September to make sure to get your equipment and skills ready!

Important News For The Players!

 1.  Practice dates and times are in the process of being determined so please send a copy of your schedule with things that your are responsible for every week (classes, work, meetings, etc.) to the softball account.

2.  We may be helping out for Freshmen move-in on Thursday, August 23rd and/or LollaNoBooza on Tuesday, August 28th.  E-mail the account if you are available for either one.

3.  The Student Activities Fair is on Wednesday, September 5th.  Please email the account if you are available (time is usually 12-3 in the afternoon).  There will most likely be the meeting with the new girls that night.

4.  Practices will most likely start the first week of September and try-outs will most likely be within those weeks.  Stay tuned!

5.  FOR E-BOARD:  September 8th is Passport to Programming and this is mandatory for all of the E-Board members to attend so clear the schedule!

Also make sure to start checking your e-mail since that will be our primary means of communication and fast responses are ideal during these first forming weeks!
